A view from the other side. The dark part of the spiral is still covered with the thin ice, but it is so clear you can see the bottom below. The spiral is nearly in full sun now. I was amazed at how quickly the thin, new ice did melt once the sun was on it full strength... it was less than an hour and it had all opened up again.I have one final parting spiral image to share tomorrow and then an ice surprise... stay tuned!
