Transitions

This is my beloved father. On Thursday he had a sudden and massive health crisis event. It is not the first time, nor the second not even the third time that we've nearly lost him. This time, things are very uncertain.

I cannot work, I cannot do anything until this crisis gets resolved. I know it is unprofessional, but I will not be able to be adding any more posts for quite some time. I apologize to my fans. I hope you will come back. There is a lot of creative work I have yet to share...but right now my heart is burdened with grief and uncertainty and concern for my family and for this dear, dear man. He has been my most loyal supporter of my art ever since I scratched my first cartoon drawings into stones at the beach. I love him beyond words and I may loose him at any moment.

Please pray for whatever holds the highest healing for him and his family.

Thank you.

My heart is with you. I would like to write something supportive but whatever I’ve thought of just sounded so clichéd that I can’t bring myself to write any of it. I don’t know how to tell you that everything will be alright in the long run when at the moment it won’t seem like it. I don’t know how to tell you that you are supported in ways you won’t be aware of without it sounding like fluffy new age blah.
I’ve been where you are now and I found that nothing my friends said was of much help. Those that helped the most were those that sat silently by me and held me in their friendship no matter how angry or distant or distraught or crazy I was and just let me be - wherever I was. I wish for you that same loving embrace from your family and friends. Helen

Don't have to post this, but you and your family are in my prayers! I hope things go well and the Lord is with you.
