This spiral of maple leaves is an offering to the Spirits of Autumn and Water. On the Medicine Wheel journey the West is connected to Autumn, water and the concepts of letting-go, introspection, the Dreamtime, and the sacred journey within.
Somehow, this spiral seems to represent all of that and more.
Happy Samhain to those who celebrate the Celtic New Year.
