Sunny-side up

I can just imagine a little Faerie curled up here for a nap in the springtime sun.

The deep red curling fronds are a type of wild fern that grows abundantly here. The colour is a deep, wine red which quickly changes to a ruddy green once the leaf takes shape. It is such fun to be working with the flowers once more!
