A special treat

As regular readers of my blog know, it is rare that I promote other artist's work, so this is a bit of a special event.

A good friend of mine has just released a lovely book of poetry and I want to tell you about it. What began as a personal project of self-reflection and creativity wound up where she never imagined; as a book!  The book is a collection of the daily Haiku poems that Jennifer had challenged herself to write... and they are lovely.

Here is the book cover and links to find out more about it:

Here is the link where you can take a peek inside and read more about her process. Also some more good news, you can get 20% off if you order before Sunday using the coupon code : FATHER20 as you check out.  If for some reason the link does not work, here is the URL to get to her page:

SPECIAL UPDATE:... you can now get 30% off this and any Lulu product, but only till June 21st! Use coupon code FATHER30  to get a massive 30% off your order!

When I got my copy I immediately wished I had gotten two because I wanted to give a copy as a gift. This book is perfect for someone who is going thru hard times, or setting out on new adventures, or is at any major celebration point in life because each little poem is so beautiful and simple, yet deep, as is the nature of Haiku. The overall result is you feel buoyed and supported, hopeful and centered after reading just a few pages. Jennifer's work has that healing quality that makes it a perfect gift to give anyone.

I know my readers like quality, magic and meaning. This book has it which is why I wanted to tell you about it.
