Gratitude

Deep in the forest, a place of magic is revealed. For thousands of years offering bowls were being carved by a small stream into the living rock. How long did it take to make such treasures using only water and pebbles and time?

Now sweet moss grows thick over the stone thanks to the misty air as the river leaps down a small falls close by. How many times have humans walked past and ignored the beautiful carvings of this secret place?

I come this day full of gratitude in my heart.

An offering is made. Fragrant now is the air with this sweet gift. One day of sun, well used.

It feels good to thank the Earth for her beauty and abundance. What can you give to the bountiful earth today?
